Description : PRIDE, PRESTIGE & ACHIEVEMENTS: GHPS KAROL BAGH SHINES AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh, proudly participated in the National Teachers’ Day Celebration held on 4 September 2026, organised by Bhagidari Jan Sahayog Samiti in collaboration with the Office of the District Magistrate, Old Delhi District, and NSS, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign. A Moment of Great Pride - Our Chairman, S. Paramjit Singh Chandhok, and Principal, Ms Jasvinder Kaur, were felicitated with the prestigious Leadership Award in recognition of their exemplary contribution and leadership. National Teachers’ Awards were conferred upon Dr. Uma Murali (PGT Economics) and Ms Mandeep Kaur (PGT Chemistry) for their outstanding contribution to the teaching profession. The celebration also featured various competitions centred around the theme “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.” Ms Mandeep Kaur (TGT English) and Ms Jaspreet Kaur( TGT English) participated in the Suggestion Round, contributing their valuable ideas towards women’s empowerment and education. Adding another feather to our cap, Sanchit Das and Vinayak Rathi of Class XI secured the Third Position in the National Poster Making Competition and were felicitated with medals and certificates. Kangna Bhatija and Ashnoor Kaur of Class XI proudly represented the school in the National Debate Competition on the theme “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and Women Empowerment. It was truly a proud, inspiring and memorable occasion for the entire GHPS Karol Bagh family.
